The Red Supra created by Eric and his brother of TwinsTurbo ; stunning car and craftsmanship ; destroyed with the Tyre stickers

BGW & Wheel design does not suit the red Supra

But hey, if you like them , you like them

    Thanks for the comment

Next big job is a big brake kit and a new set of sticky tyres, which I will not be doing the stickers on. I feel like Iíve done the tyre writing thing now.

If you have bigger oe 4 and 2 piston setup, I would not bother with k sport, just go ap racing or Brembo

Can you get a set of either of those for around £3k? I thought k sports would be a big improvement over uk brakes no?

I’d rather UK brakes than K sports also, I wouldn’t bother changing unless going AP or Brembo.

And in answer to adams green facelift aero, you will have better luck bumming megan fox before he sells (drift_bear)
So nice to see a fantastic dark green aero with Recaro seats on a such a nice day. Whoever owns it should be proud. It's a stunner! (Delboy52)

Any idea on how I stop the discs from warping? I am on my third set of discs in 2 years. Running oem discs with Chris Wilson pads. This is the main reason for wanting to go for a bbk

Are you sure they aren't wearing unevenly? Warping would suggest excessive heat.

    When were your brakes rebuilt?

Are all your wheels correctly balanced and in good condition?

Are the hubs and wheel flanges running true and in good condition?

All wheel bolts and studs in good condition?
    All installed correctly?
Tightened uniformly in the correct order and to the recommended torque specification?

Are you cooling a hot disc rapidly, washing the car?

The uk brakes held the world record for the shortest stopping distance of a production car, until the Porsche Carrera GT in 2002

Your car will not pull up in a shorter distance no matter what brake setup you get, you are at the limit of coefficient of Friction, better tyres would only help

The big brake kits, just allow better pedal feel and longevity is increased before brake fade kicks in

    Thanks for the advice guys.

Frank I thought the answer was yes to all those questions. But now Iím thinking perhaps the brakes need a bit of an overhaul.

Are we under the general consensus that Iím wasting my money on a big brake kit unless I spend £5k or more on Brembos or APs?
