    Steve's NA-T

After many years of being an NA-T lurker around these parts and trying to learn the ins and outs, I've finally bit the bullet and started piecing a build of my own together. I've tried to prepare the car in other areas first before starting the build with UK brakes all round and a Chris Wilson uprated 6spd clutch to handle the power of a small single setup. Having a facelift SZ-R meant I also had the V161 so no need to worry there.

    Spec

    Whifbitz Log Style T4 304 s/s Manifold
    Borg Warner S360 T4 0.88 Undivided Turbocharger
Whifbitz Oil Drain kit with billet oil drain flanges
    Whifbitz Oil Feed kit
    Goodridge braided hoses and fittings
    Greddy Intercooler
    Greddy BOV
    Aluminium Intercooler pipework
    Silicon Intercooler pipes and clamps
    Turbosmart Compgate 45mm External Wastegate
    Siemens 650cc DEKA injectors
    Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
    Whifbitz 3 s/s Downpipe
    Whifbitz 3 s/s Midpipe
    Borg Warner 3 Marmon Clamp
Stainless Steel Dump Tube venting to atmosphere
    K&N 4 Air Filter
    Polished aluminium Intake Pipe
    NGK iridium Spark Plugs
AEM EMS V2 Standalone ECU c/w 3.5bar Map Sensor, Intake Sensor and Base Map
    Defi Link Meter
    Defi Inlet Pressure Gauge
    Defi Boost Gauge
    Defi Fuel Pressure Gauge
    Defi Oil Pressure Gauge
    Defi Oil Temp Gauge
    AEM AFR Gauge
    UK Brakes all round
Chris Wilson uprated TT 6spd Clutch

Car has just had a major service with all belts, plugs, filters and fluids changed throughout so should be healthy. Hopefully this kit will see me to 400hp or there abouts to begin with. Future plans include TT pistons, bigger injectors, uprated fuel system, rad & twin fan upgrade, oil and P/S coolers, FFIM etc etc. Will slowly up the boost over time as I will no doubt crave more and more

Don't have any pics of the build as I'm offshore but I know this forum likes pics so here is the car that will undergo all this work:

Cheers dude, progress will be slow to begin with but once I'm home the parts should at least be there waiting for me

Thanks Jesse, sending the car back to Checkpoint in Arbroath for the build. Certainly knows his Supras and has a good mapper to get the car running. I'll need a fellow NA-T'er up north so get on it!

Sounds good! Will be watching with interest as if I do go the NA-T route then need somewhere good to send the car. Hope the build goes well and look forward to seeing it complete!

I'll try keep the thread as detailed as possible dude and hopefully Checkpoint can do the business without any hassle. Calum knows his stuff so confident they'll be able to build me a solid setup!

Anyone know the diameter of the N/A inlet? Looks like most guys run a reducer from 3" down to whatever the inlet is. Had a quick look but can't find the number

Well I got back from offshore work today and was keen to see what was waiting for me!

    AEM AFR Gauge

    GReddy Type RZ BOV

440cc MKIII Injectors with resistors from Fly, thanks again buddy

AEM EMS V2 Standalone ECU. Hoping to have some fun with the features on this. Going to see what I can do with regards to running it through my CarPC and engaging launch control, 2 step and stuff like that

Some more Defi Gauges, still waiting on one more as it appears to have gone walkies in the postal network

Greddy Intercooler and some 3" pipework to go with. Will be going black silicone all through out if I can manage

Oil sandwich plate and OEM 6spd knob to replace my cheap one

Also some gaiters to spruce up the interior. Hoping to get the gear knob and maybe even my steering wheel done to the same effect

And because I'm a bit of a tech geek I couldn't resist picking this up for some good footage at shows etc

Finally, Metalmonkey have been at work designing me some gauges to match the style of my Defis. Hecklers PCB dash has also been installed so should match up nicely

Pay day is a few weeks away so will be looking to pick up the Whifbitz NA-T kit soon and complete the puzzle!

Cheers Dim I'll get some up once I have them fitted, hoping they match up quite close.

Maybe need to have a play with it mate? It has a hard/soft setting on it so maybe need to adjust that to get it to release. What you running? TT? BPU?
